History
Leap was founded in July 2024 by two cousins, Hara and Tsuruoka, who had aimed to contribute to society through digital transformation (DX) since their days at the University of Tokyo.
From his experience with macroeconomic policy at the Cabinet Office, Hara was convinced that "the global leap of Japanese companies is the key to revitalizing the Japanese economy." Meanwhile, Tsuruoka, who was engaged in generative AI research and development at Hitachi, realized that AI advancements were dramatically lowering the barriers to global expansion, such as language and business customs.
"Within the next 10 years, it will become standard for companies worldwide to operate globally."
With this conviction, the two established Leap in Yokohama to support corporate challenges through technology and strategy.
